DARIUSZ MAKARUK - MUSICIAN, PRODUCER OF MUSIC AND AUDIOVISUAL PROJECTS

and also software programmer and manager.

As a music producer and musician he plays his own dub / improvised / club music material.
He also performs solo using audiovisual sensory installations, controlled by movement, sound or light. Lives and works in Warsaw, Poland.

He composes theatre and film music (Sella Turcica performance with Studio Magellana theatre - a piece featuring pensioners of the John Paul II Nursery Home in Kielce, Poland), soundtrack composition for 1923 Jacques Feyder's "Faces of Children".

He is a member of Polish Society for Electroacoustic Music (PSeME) a Polish department of CIME/ICEM in Bourges

Cooperates with Teatr Polonia and Mabel Octobre Theatre (France) creating theatre audiovisual performance realisation systems based on own software.

He coproduces music projects which are part of contemporary jazz and improvised music such as Michael Urbaniak\s Special Audiovisual Project and a concert-film performance lead by a Polish legendary trumpeter Tomasz Stańko with Mariusz Wilczyńskii and Włodzimierz Kiniorski ( with whom Makaruk has been playing in a duo Kinior & Makaruk since 2002). He also cooperates with choreographer and dancer Naoko Maeshiba as well as with Tymon Tymański and Antoni Gralaki.
